My client based in Bellville is currently looking for a QA Tester to join their team on a permanent basis.

IT / Finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• ISTQB certification (or similar software testing qualification) - preferred
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a QA or software testing role

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases across different environments
• Perform exploratory, usability, functional, integration, and regression testing
• Conduct regression testing after updates to ensure system stability
• Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts using Test Café (TypeScript)
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and report findings to the Test Lead Analyst
• Test web, mobile, back-end systems, APIs, and GUIs
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and support teams to ensure quality standards are met
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and SOPs
