Job summary

Pump and Abrasion Technologies is seeking a Technical Sales support engineer to handle all technical aspects for pump system proposals, from selecting pumps to on-site assistance, traveling to client sites as needed.

The role requires a mechanical or process engineering degree and up to 2 years of experience, with strong MS Word/Excel skills and the ability to communicate technically to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• B.Eng or BSc.Eng in Mechanical or Process Engineering.
• 0–2 years of working experience.
• Pump-related experience will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selecting and specifying pumps to best meet the customer’s needs.
• Compile technical reports and proposals.
• Guides customers on a technical basis to the appropriate product.
• Provides first-line technical support and consulting for pump applications.
• On-site assistance with installation of products.
• Do system analysis and fault finding on-site and compile reports with the necessary solutions and root cause analysis.
• Assist Sales representatives in presenting proposed solutions to clients.
• Required to meet or exceed Customer Support quality assurance standards on a consistent basis.
