Job summary

Pump and Abrasion Technologies (PABT) is seeking a technically oriented engineer to join the Technical Sales team in Centurion, South Africa. You will support Sales with pump system analyses, prepare proposals, and provide on-site installation and fault-finding assistance.

The role requires a B.Eng or BSc.Eng in Mechanical or Process Engineering with 0-2 years of experience, along with strong MS Word and Excel skills and the ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.Eng or BSc.Eng in Mechanical or Process Engineering.
• 0-2 years of working experience is preferred.
• Pump-related experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selecting and specifying pumps to best meet customer needs.
• Compile technical reports and proposals.
• Provide on-site technical support and installation assistance.
• Conduct system analysis and fault finding.
• Support Sales reps with technical presentations to clients.
