Job summary

Pump and Abrasion Technologies (PABT) is seeking a Technical Sales professional to support our sales team with pump system technical expertise. The role is based at our Centurion head office, with travel to client sites, typically over 3–4 days per trip.

You will compile proposals, provide on-site installation guidance, and perform fault analysis to deliver practical pump solutions. Responsibilities include assisting in pump selection, preparing technical reports, and guiding customers to the

Qualifications

B.Eng or BSc.Eng in Mechanical or Process Engineering.
0-2 years working experience.
Pump-related experience is advantageous.
Strong mechanical/process engineering ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist in selecting and specifying pumps to meet customer needs.
Compile technical reports and proposals.
Guide customers on a technical basis to the appropriate product.
Provide first-line technical support and consulting for pump applications.
On-site assistance with installation of products.
Do system analysis and fault finding on-site and compile reports with root cause analysis.
Assist Sales representatives in presenting proposed solutions to clients.
Meet or exceed Customer Support quality assurance standards.
