Job summary

Pump and Abrasion Technologies, a global leader in heavy-duty slurry pumps, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Centurion. You will support sales with all technical aspects, specify pumps, and prepare proposals.

Based in Centurion with travel to client sites 3–4 days at a time, you will analyze systems, provide on-site installation support, and deliver root-cause reports. Ideal candidates hold a B.Eng or BSc.Eng in Mechanical or Process Engineering and have up to 2 years of experience, with

Qualifications

Bachelor-level engineering degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering.
0–2 years of working experience.
Pump-related experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Assist in selecting and specifying pumps to meet customer needs.
Compile technical reports and proposals.
Guides customers on a technical basis to the appropriate product.
Provides first-line technical support and consulting for pump applications.
On-site assistance with installation of products.
Do system analysis and fault finding on-site and compile reports with the necessary solutions and root cause analysis.
Assist Sales representatives in presenting proposed solutions to clients.
Required to meet or exceed Customer Support quality assurance standards on a consistent basis.
