The role requires a university degree in Accounting, at least 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, and strong skills in communication, organization, and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliations for Bank, Credit cards, Petty Cash, and Control Accounts.
• Management of debtors and execution of debtors policy.
• Financial reporting and ensuring financial timeline deadlines are met.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans

Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel)

Experience with Xero Accounting software

Education

University graduate with a three-year degree in Accounting

• Payment arrangements within policy
• Straight line income reconciliation
• Suppliers – Processing and reconciliation
• Accruals – Processing and reconciliation
• Processing Journals
• Processing Provisions
• Submission and processing of monthly payment runs
• Process and manage stoc k
• Manage and maintain monthly audit file
• Achieve financial timeline deadlines
• Financial reporting
