Job summary

CampusKey in Cape Town seeks a capable Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations within a dynamic student housing sector. You will handle reconciliations, bank activity, and debtors with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has a three-year Accounting degree and at least 3 years in hospitality finance, alongside strong English and Afrikaans communication and good Excel skills. A valid driver's license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• University graduate with a three-year degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong English and Afrikaans communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Credit cards, petty cash and deposits management.
• Control accounts and debtors management.
• Debt collection policy execution and reporting.
• Process monthly payment runs and supplier reconciliations.
• Manage stock and monthly audit files.
• Produce financial reporting to timelines.
