Job Title: Projects & Sales Administrator
Work Area: Projects Office – Project Management
Remuneration: Market-Related (Negotiable based on experience)
The main purpose of this position is to oversee and manage all documentation related to projects and business development activities. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient creation, storage, retrieval, and compliance of documents to support seamless project execution and drive business growth initiatives.
Documentation Management: Create, organize, and maintain project and business development documentation (including plans, schedules, and status reports) in compliance with organizational standards.
Project & Business Development Support: Facilitate smooth document flow between project teams and stakeholders, assisting with the preparation of progress updates, proposals, contracts, and financial documentation.
Communication Support: Facilitate clear communication within project teams and external stakeholders, helping to draft and distribute announcements and updates.
Business Development Recordkeeping: Maintain structured records of business development activities, support data analysis, and assist BD teams with client communications.
Compliance, Quality & Process Improvement: Maintain high standards of document accuracy, assist in developing best practices, support ISO 9001 / TÜV SÜD process maintenance, and assist in documentation audits.
SHERQ Adherence: Strictly adhere to company Safety, Health, Environmental, Risk, and Quality (SHERQ) policies and procedures.
Education: High School Diploma / Matric or equivalent. A Diploma/Certificate in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
Experience: Previous work experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, or in a similar administrative role is an advantage.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of project management principles, document management systems (DMS), and document control principles.
Technical Skills: Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, effective verbal/written communication, adaptability, and high ethical standards.
