Remuneration: Market-Related (General guide: R180,000 – R360,000 Total Cost to Company per annum)
About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to manage and control all project documentation, ensuring complete accuracy and compliance. You will oversee the timely delivery and processing of project materials, drawings, manuals, and document control registers. Additionally, you will provide essential administrative support to project managers and teams to ensure tasks are executed smoothly and project objectives are met on time.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation Management: Create, organize, and maintain project documentation (plans, schedules, status reports, drawings, manuals) in compliance with standards.
Expediting: Track and manage the delivery of project materials and documentation, resolving supply and processing issues promptly.
Communication & Meetings: Facilitate team communication, coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and distribute summaries.
Task & Budget Tracking: Track project tasks and milestones, follow up on deadlines, and assist in monitoring budgets and expenses.
Quality Assurance & SHERQ: Review project deliverables for quality and adhere strictly to safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHERQ) regulations.
Reporting & Risk Management: Generate regular status reports, assist in identifying risks, and support mitigation strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, OR a professional certification in Project Management / Business Administration.
Experience: Prior work experience as a Document Controller, Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, or similar role is a strong advantage.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Document Management Systems (DMS), document control principles, and basic project management methodologies.
Technical Skills: Computer literate with strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
