Job summary

SavageOne Pty Ltd in Cape Town (CBD) seeks a Project Manager with retail experience to oversee print-ready files via RMS and ensure the brand look & feel matches client briefs.

Onsite role: manage deadlines, quality, and production status with stakeholders; apply pre-flight and proofing ISO standards; requires a relevant tertiary qualification with 4–5 years in a similar role and solid PM skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification with 4–5 years experience in a similar role.
• Strong project management skills.
• Knowledge of Retail Marketing, Retail Client Service, Basic Print, Repro and DTP; RMS knowledge beneficial.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all deadlines are met timeously.
• Maintain standards and quality of work produced within RMS.
• Supply technical information & client requirements to Internal Retail team.
• Effectively communicate the production status to all relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure Job complies with client and ISO standards of pre-flight and proofing for the intended output.
• Record time spent on jobs within RMS and upload final artwork in the guardbook.

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

PRODUCTION CONTROLLER -

• -( Retail experience ) Mandatory
• - Onsite
• -Location: Based in Cape Town ( CBD )

Through a solid understanding of final output requirements and the Clients brand look & feel, ensure that all final files received via the Retail Management System are print ready as per the client brief in RMS.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Ensure all deadlines are met timeously
• Maintaining standards and quality of work produced within RMS
• Supply technical information & client requirements to Internal Retail team
• Effectively communicate the production status to all relevant stakeholders
• Ensure Job complies with the cleint and ISO standards of pre-flight and proofing for the intended output
• Ensure all time spent on jobs are recorded within RMS and that final approved artwork is uploaded in the guardbook via RMS

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant tertiary qualification with at least 4 - 5 years experience in a similar role
• Strong project management skills are required
• Knowledge of Retail Marketing, Retail Client Service, Basic Print, Repro and DTP highly beneficial RMS experience will be beneficial
• Intermediate computer skills
