Placements24 is seeking a highly accomplished Project Director to lead the development of a significant new residential estate in Centurion, Gauteng. This senior role covers planning, execution, financial management, and stakeholder relations to ensure profitability targets are met.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in property development, with at least 8 years in senior leadership, strong market understanding, and proven ability to drive large-scale projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Property Development, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA is advantageous.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in property development, with at least 8 years in a senior project leadership role.
• Demonstrated track record of managing large-scale residential developments from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the residential development project from land acquisition to design, construction, and sales/leasing.
• Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring financial viability and profitability targets are met.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and sales agents.
• Ensure compliance with planning, zoning, and building regulations.
• Manage relationships with investors, local authorities, and community groups.
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to ensure successful project penjualan.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for timely delivery.
• Maintain high standards of quality in design, construction, and finishing of all residential units.
• Report on project status, performance, and financial outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for the overall success of the project, encompassing planning, execution, financial management, and stakeholder relations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale property development projects from inception to completion, with a strong understanding of market trends, construction processes, and regulatory frameworks.
