Placements24 is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead social development initiatives in Cape Town. You will manage strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation while overseeing budgets and a dedicated team to uplift communities in the Western Cape.

Formación

• Master's degree in social sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of program management experience, preferably in Cape Town.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and teams.
• In-depth knowledge of social development challenges in the Western Cape.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute strategic plans for social development programs in Cape Town.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned programs, ensuring alignment with organizational mission and objectives.
• Manage program budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation effectively.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise program staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, community groups, and other stakeholders in the Western Cape.
• Monitor program progress, conduct impact assessments, and prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify funding opportunities and contribute to grant writing and proposal development.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.
• Represent the organization at relevant forums and conferences in Cape Town and beyond.

About the Role
