About the Role Our client, a leading charitable organization committed to sustainable development and community upliftment in Cape Town , seeks a dynamic and strategic Impact Program Manager. This pivotal position will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of our client's flagship programs aimed at addressing critical social issues within the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a deep passion for driving positive social change. You will be responsible for ensuring programmatic excellence, maximizing social impact, and fostering robust partnerships across the Cape Town region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning and development of new and existing social impact programs.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of program activities, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program progress and measure impact.
• Manage program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and sustainability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with beneficiaries, community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders in Cape Town.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for donors, board members, and other stakeholders, highlighting program achievements and challenges.
• Supervise and mentor program staff, fostering a high-performance team culture.
• Identify opportunities for program innovation and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in International Development, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit or development sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in program design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E).
• Strong understanding of development challenges and opportunities within the South African context, particularly in Cape Town.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Afrikaans or isiXhosa is a plus.
