Job summary

DACHSER South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Professional Specialist Sea Freight Export in Kempton Park to manage sea freight exports, documentation, and customer support.

The role requires 3–6+ years in freight forwarding exports, Incoterms knowledge, and SARS export procedures, with English at B1 level. Join a sustainable, family-owned logistics leader with a strong onboarding program and employee support.

Qualifications

• Incoterms knowledge required.
• Experience with sea freight exports (FCL & LCL).
• Knowledge of customs compliance and SARS export procedures.
• English language skills at B1 level or higher.
• 3–6+ years freight forwarding export experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle sea freight shipments and export documentation.
• Accept orders and schedule shipments accordingly.
• Perform shipment handling and export customs clearance (incl. dangerous goods).
• Prepare and verify freight/export documents for carriers and customers.
• Negotiate rates with carriers, shipowners and transshipment companies.
• Provide customer advice and support throughout the process.
