Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles (light to heavy duty) safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport goods and materials from origin points to designated destinations, ensuring all items are secured and protected during transit.
• Adhere strictly to delivery schedules, providing accurate ETAs and communicating any potential delays proactively.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues or defects promptly to the fleet manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and cargo area at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, including courteous communication and assistance with unloading when required.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any other required documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as necessary, ensuring proper handling and care of all items.
• Report any accidents, traffic violations, or incidents immediately according to company procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) and a valid Code 10 or higher driver's license.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the logistics or transport industry in **Midrand, Gauteng**.
• Proven track record of safe driving and a clean driving record.
• Excellent knowledge of **Midrand** and surrounding **Gauteng** road networks, including an understanding of traffic patterns and best routes.
