Key Responsibilities

• Operating heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently for local and potentially regional deliveries within Midrand, Gauteng and surrounding areas.
• Planning and executing delivery routes to ensure optimal time management and fuel efficiency.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects.
• Loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage.
• Maintaining accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and any required paperwork.

Requirements

• Valid Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) and relevant heavy vehicle licenses (Code 10/14).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a professional driver, preferably with heavy goods vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
• Strong knowledge of Midrand, Gauteng and surrounding road networks.
