Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), in compliance with all traffic regulations and company safety protocols.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrival at destination points.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Load and unload cargo securely, using appropriate equipment when necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup processes.
• Adhere to strict schedules and deadlines, managing time effectively to meet operational demands.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations immediately to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.

Requirements

• Valid Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) and appropriate commercial driver's license (e.g., Code 10/14) for the vehicle class.
