Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, ranging from light commercial vans to larger trucks, in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods to prevent damage during transit.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and timely completion of schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe and operational condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents encountered.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, including clear communication regarding delivery times and status.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks of accidents and injuries.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or required maintenance to the fleet manager promptly.

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 (C1) or Code 14 (EC1) driver's license with an unblemished driving record.
• Professional driving permit (PDP) is essential.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transport role, preferably within the logistics industry.
