Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize production in Mahikeng, North West. The role focuses on improving efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness of manufacturing processes in a hybrid on-site/remote setup.

You will analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and implement lean and Six Sigma solutions while collaborating with supervisors and operators to boost throughput and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years' experience in industrial/production engineering.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience with data analysis and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production lines to identify bottlenecks and efficiency gains.
• Develop strategies to improve throughput, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Apply lean and Six Sigma tools to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with supervisors and operators to implement changes and train staff.
• Recommend equipment/workflow modifications to optimize performance.
• Monitor KPIs and report progress on production metrics.
