Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Systems Engineer to design, implement and maintain integrated systems across our clients’ operations in Mahikeng. The role focuses on analyzing operations data, building system models and proposing solutions to boost productivity, quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Industrial or Systems Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and strong skills in system modeling, automation and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial systems design, analysis, or implementation.
• Experience with system modeling and simulation software.
• Strong understanding of automation, control systems and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing industrial systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and integration.
• Design, develop, and implement new systems to enhance operational efficiency, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Utilize modeling and simulation tools to test and validate system designs before implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
