Qualificações

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing fintech company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist to join their fully remote team. This individual will be responsible for managing the procurement of all goods and services required for the company's operations, focusing on technology, software licenses, and professional services. The role involves strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and building strong supplier relationships to ensure value for money and compliance. As a remote-first organization, strong self-management, excellent communication, and a proactive approach are essential. This position plays a critical role in supporting the company's expansion and operational needs, which indirectly relate to its business presence and reach across regions like Mahikeng, North West .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for technology hardware, software, and IT services.


• Manage the entire procurement process from vendor identification and selection to contract negotiation and execution.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors and service providers.


• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) to achieve cost savings and optimize value.


• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify industry trends, new technologies, and potential risks.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.


• Collaborate with IT, legal, and finance departments to align procurement strategies with business needs and budgets.


• Manage supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure continued value delivery.


• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within the procurement function.


• Maintain accurate and organized records of all procurement contracts, purchases, and vendor information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a specialization in technology sourcing and IT procurement.


• Proven experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor relationships within the tech industry.


• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software licensing models, and cloud services.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.


• Proficiency in procurement software, e-sourcing tools, and ERP systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba).
