Job summary

Ergasia Placements is seeking a procurement administrator for a production facility in Bloemfontein. The role focuses on documentation, record management, inventory monitoring, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials.

You will evaluate supplier prices, negotiate contracts and collaborate with production, quality control and finance to ensure availability of materials. A National Senior Certificate and 3 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF4.
• 3 years' experience in a procurement administrative role within a production facility.
• Valid RSA driver's licence with own transport.
• Knowledge and experience in animal feed industry will be favourable.
• Qualification in business, supply chain management or agriculture will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Documentation and record management.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and anticipate raw material needs.
• Ensure the timely delivery of raw materials.
• Evaluate supplier prices and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing.
• Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and finance departments to ensure the availability of raw materials for production.
