You will develop and implement robust safety protocols, lead hazard studies (HAZOP/What-If/FMEA) and drive corrective actions across plant operations, ensuring regulatory compliance.

This hybrid role combines on-site assessments with remote analysis and documentation to protect personnel and assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years in process safety, risk assessment or related role.
• Experience with HAZOPs and safety analysis techniques.
• Strong knowledge of PSM elements and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical, problem-solving and investigative skills.
• Effective communication for training and collaboration.
• CSP certification desirable.
• Experience with safety software and databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Process Safety Management (PSM) systems.
• Conduct HAZOP/What-If/FMEA studies and lead investigations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and deliver process safety training programs.
• Maintain PSI and MOC procedures; perform safety audits.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations to embed safety in design.
• Stay updated on best practices in process safety engineering.
