Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer in George to refine and enhance manufacturing operations. The role focuses on applying advanced engineering methodologies to drive efficiency, quality, and productivity improvements across processes.

You will lead cross-functional projects, analyze data, and utilize lean tools to achieve measurable gains while supporting a hybrid work model and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 4 years of hands-on process improvement/lean manufacturing experience.
• Green Belt or Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and safety hazards.
• Implement lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts and work instructions.
• Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving and continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor KPIs and report process performance to management.
• Facilitate training sessions on new processes and CI methodologies.
