Job summary

Placements24 in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking an innovative and experienced Process Engineer to optimize existing production processes and design new ones to boost efficiency, cut costs, and ensure superior product quality.

You will collaborate with production, R&D and management to troubleshoot issues, implement sustainable improvements, and apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and process simulation tools to deliver measurable performance gains.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
Design, develop, and implement new production processes and equipment.
Develop and execute test plans for new processes and modifications.
Troubleshoot process-related issues, implementing effective and sustainable solutions.
