The role requires a BEng or BSc in Chemical Engineering and at least six years of experience, with proficiency in Aspen HYSYS or ChemCAD and P&IDs.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the chemical or energy industries.
• Strong knowledge of process design principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mass transfer.
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD) and P&IDs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Understanding of safety management systems and environmental compliance in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and optimize chemical and energy processing systems and equipment.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to identify bottlenecks and areas for efficiency improvements.
• Implement process control strategies and troubleshoot operational issues to maintain optimal plant performance.
• Ensure all processes comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
