Placements24 is seeking a Process Control Engineer for a dynamic chemical solutions provider in Centurion, Gauteng. You will design, implement, and maintain advanced control systems to optimize production, enhance safety, and ensure product quality.

You should have a Bachelor's in Chemical or Electrical Engineering, 4+ years' experience in process control, and strong PLC/DCS expertise. Expect challenging projects, collaboration with engineers and operators, and opportunities for professional

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
4+ years of experience in process control engineering.
Strong PLC/DCS programming experience.
Solid understanding of PID control and APC techniques.
Experience with instrumentation and calibration procedures.
Ability to read P&IDs, schematics, and control narratives.

Mansioni

Design, configure, and implement advanced process control strategies for chemical manufacturing equipment.
Develop and maintain control system software, including PLC and DCS programming.
Integrate and calibrate process instrumentation (e.g., sensors, transmitters, valves).
Monitor system performance, diagnose control loop issues, and tune for optimal performance.
Develop and execute test plans for control system logic and hardware.
Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on control systems.
Collaborate with project teams during design and commissioning of new equipment.
