Job summary

Parvana is seeking an experienced IT Support professional to manage and optimize a large LAN/WAN network in a multi-site environment. The role focuses on server administration, virtualization, and proactive troubleshooting across Windows Server, IIS, and modern collaboration tools.

The successful candidate will document tasks, automate repetitive processes, and coordinate maintenance across sites, including after-hours work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in LAN/WAN environments and Microsoft Server environments.
• Experience with Windows Desktop/Server OS, IIS, Remote Desktop Services, and network troubleshooting (HP Aruba).
• Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware) and IP telephony is highly valued.
• Familiarity with O365, Azure, SharePoint, and threat detection is advantageous.
• Ability to document technical work, maintain schedules, handle multiple tasks, and work independently.
• Willingness to work after hours for maintenance or projects and to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for network operations and the business unit, including monitoring and maintaining services.
• Monitor server and data backup processes, and configure network devices as directed.
• Oversee device management systems: software distribution, updates, patching, antivirus, and imaging.
• Analyse log files to identify errors and assist with network account creation and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and data transfers.
• Ensure tickets are resolved promptly and scheduled tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for work processes.
• Support the department’s mission, participate in development, and travel between sites.

What you will be doing:

• Provide comprehensive support for network operations and the business unit, including monitoring and maintaining services.

• Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), server/storage hardware (HP), and IP telephony (Teams/3CX) is highly valued.
  
• Familiarity with O365, Azure, SharePoint, and threat detection is considered an advantage.
