This senior role is pivotal in leading and executing geological and geophysical exploration programs, focusing on identifying and evaluating new resource opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in integrating multi-disciplinary geoscience data, utilizing advanced interpretation techniques, and managing exploration projects from conceptualisation through to resource delineation. You will play a key role in shaping the company's exploration strategy and contributing to significant discoveries. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and interpretation of integrated geoscience programs, including seismic, gravity, magnetic, and geochemical surveys.


• Develop and manage exploration targets and prospectivity assessments.


• Perform detailed geological mapping and structural analysis.


• Utilize advanced geophysical software for data processing, inversion, and interpretation.


• Collaborate closely with reservoir engineers, geologists, and other technical specialists to build comprehensive subsurface models.


• Mentor and guide junior geoscientists and technical staff.


• Prepare high-quality technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and investment committees.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to exploration activities in Mossel Bay.


• Manage exploration budgets and project timelines efficiently.


• Contribute to the company's long-term exploration strategy and business development initiatives.

Requirements
