Job summary

FreeRecruit in Pretoria seeks a Key Accounts Coordinator (Debtors) to manage the debtors book for a commercial insurance client. You will coordinate with key accounts, maintain relationships, and handle high-volume administration while travelling to client sites in Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The role requires a professional, bilingual candidate with Matric and at least two years in debtors, debt collection, or finance.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Afrikaans and English required with strong written and verbal skills.
• Matric/Grade 12 is essential.
• Minimum 2 years in Debtors, Debt Collection or related finance/ bookkeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate key accounts and manage client relationships for the insurance/commercial risk client.
• Develop and maintain debtor records and handle high-volume administration.
• Travel to client sites in Johannesburg and Pretoria to resolve issues and speed up collections.
• Ensure monthly and annual debt targets are met and provide regular status updates.
• Act as primary operations contact for allocated clients and escalate where needed.

Lynnwood Ridge, Pretoria: KEY ACCOUNTS COORDINATOR (DEBTORS)

Minimum Requirements

• Well presentable, professional and proactive (preferably aged ±26-45 years)
• Fully bilingual and proficient in both Afrikaans and English a must, with strong communication skills in both (fluently speak and write)
• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Debtors, Debt Collection or bookkeeping / finance / accounting (preferably within financial, legal or insurance sectors)
• Strong administration experience and skills
• Computer literate in MS Office (Preferably MS Excel)
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle a must (Travelling to clients required – travel cost reimbursed by company)
• Target driven and service delivery orientated, and able to handle high volume administration
• Strong relationship management skills and excellent organizational and coordination ability
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Deadline driven and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Stable employment record and contactable employment references from non-family orientated employers
• Residing in Pretoria (within daily commuting distance from Lynnwood)
• To start as soon as possible

Duties

• Key Accounts coordination and Client Relationship management for Insurance company specializing in commercial insurance and risk management
• Develop and maintain client relationships within surety bonds division
• Maintain debtor’s book and handle high volume administration
• Travel to and meet with clients in person to resolve issues & speed up collection process (Clients based in Johannesburg & Pretoria)
• Ensure Debtors monthly & annual targets set are met
• Act as primary operational contact for allocated clients
• Ensure consistent communication and follow-ups on outstanding matters
• Manage service expectations and provide regular status updates
• Escalate service or risk concerns where necessary.

Salary: R 15000.00 – R 20000.00 gross maximum (Depending on experience)
