Qualifications

• Customer service and sales skills.

• Previous experience in customer service.
• Previous experience in a similar retail environment.
• Grade 12 qualification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, across all sections of the Chocolate Shop and over the phone.
• Greeting all customers, 'Welcome to Lindt', hosting and providing a memorable experience.
• Educating and informing customers on Lindt chocolate products with passion and knowledge.
• Active sampling to share product knowledge and discuss taste profiles and ingredients.
• Awareness of daily sales budgets and upselling to increase transaction value.
• Inform customers of current in-store promotions, events and information.
• Assist customers in selecting Lindt products to encourage additional sales.
• Serve multiple customers, maintaining attentiveness and communication.
• Multitask between store tasks and customer service.
• Process customer orders through POS and credit card transactions.
• Manage tills, count floats, and perform end-of-shift procedures.
• Prepare large customer orders.
• Address complaints immediately by informing the manager on duty.
• Build rapport with regular customers to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly store atmosphere.
