Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Installation Specialist to support our client in Gauteng, with projects in Tembisa. You will set up and configure equipment, perform testing, and ensure safety and quality before handover.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, ability to read drawings and manuals, and coordination with project teams. Travel within Tembisa and the Gauteng region is expected, and you will contribute to on-site excellence.

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience in technical installation or similar role.
Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read drawings and installation manuals.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel within Tembisa and broader Gauteng.
Effective communication for reporting and coordination.

Responsibilities

Execute the physical installation of equipment and components as per project plans and manufacturer guidelines.
Perform system configuration, testing, and calibration to ensure full operational capacity.
Collaborate with project teams to coordinate installation schedules and site access.
Identify and report deviations from installation plans or potential issues on-site.
Ensure all installation activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Assist in commissioning, verifying system functionality post-installation.
