Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Installation Specialist to join our Pretoria field operations team. You will be responsible for the physical installation, setup, and initial testing of equipment at customer premises, ensuring systems are operational and meet requirements.

Strong client-facing skills and commitment to quality are essential. The role requires reading technical diagrams, following project plans, and traveling to multiple client sites within the Pretoria area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical installation or field service role.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and networking principles relevant to installations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving and meticulous approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Execute physical installation of equipment at client sites according to plans.
• Perform system testing and initial configuration post-installation.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems when needed.
• Keep sites clean, organized and properly documented.
• Provide basic guidance and answer client questions about equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures on-site.
