About the Role

This role is pivotal in ensuring that newly acquired equipment is expertly set up, tested, and integrated into client operations, laying the foundation for efficient and reliable performance. You will work closely with project managers and clients to coordinate installation schedules and ensure all technical requirements are met, playing a direct role in project success and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring seamless deployment of complex systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the complete installation process for specialized equipment at client sites.
• Conduct thorough system testing and calibration post-installation to verify functionality and performance against specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues encountered during the installation and setup phase.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure adherence to installation plans and timelines.
• Provide on-site technical guidance and basic operational training to client end-users.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installation progress, tests performed, and any deviations from the plan.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in equipment installation, configuration, and testing, preferably in an industrial or technical setting.
• Strong knowledge of relevant mechanical and electrical systems and installation best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings , diagrams, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in executing installation procedures.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Tembisa region and occasionally to other company sites.
