Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification or newly qualified with interest in investments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with portfolio managers and traders to implement investment views across portfolios.
• Oversee trade orders from inception through to completion.
• Monitor asset allocations, portfolio cash positions and FX requirements.
• Manage fund cash flows and portfolio rebalancing.
• Support currency hedging and derivative rolls (futures, swaps, CDS).
• Develop understanding of investment mandates and monitor portfolios against guidelines.
• Manage transitions, restructures and asset movements.
• Build expertise in order management systems and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate existing processes, including AI tools.
• Collaborate across investment, trading, operations, compliance and client-facing teams.
