Job summary

Old Mutual Investment Group seeks a Senior Portfolio Implementation Specialist to translate investment decisions into accurate, timely portfolio actions. You will lead governance, audit responses and performance reporting while partnering with Portfolio Managers, Trading, Operations and Risk.

The role demands a proven implementation professional who mentors, coordinates daily team tasks and drives continuous improvement in processes and data analysis.

Qualifications

• BCom Honours (Finance and Investments) or equivalent required.
• 5-8 years’ experience in investment or asset management.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Solid understanding of investment strategies and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of CIS funds and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Charles River advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio monitoring and implementation excellence; oversee market value, cash, flows and asset allocation accuracy.
• Peer review trades for accuracy, compliance and best practices; act as escalation point for complex trades.
• Oversee fund cash flows, take-ons, terminations and transitions; manage FX and cash trading.
• Maintain expertise in investment mandates, benchmarks, tracking error and compliance; coordinate with auditors.
