MRZ Recruitment is recruiting for a leading client in the pharmaceutical sector. We seek experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives with a proven ability to build relationships with pharmacists and pharmacy buyers across their territory.

The role involves developing territory sales plans, calling on independent and corporate pharmacies, promoting a product portfolio, achieving sales targets, supporting stock management, delivering product trainings, and gathering market insights.

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical or pharmacy sales experience.
• Established relationships with independent and/or corporate pharmacies.
• Strong knowledge of the pharmacy environment and pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and territory growth.

Responsibilities

We are looking for experienced, results-driven Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives with a strong understanding of the pharmacy environment and a proven ability to build successful customer relationships.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

• Western Cape
• Territories covering the Southern Suburbs and Garden Route
• KwaZulu-Natal
• Coastal Region
• Mainline Region – Candidates should preferably reside in Pietermaritzburg or Hillcrest, with Westville being the furthest preferred location.
• Gauteng
• Vaal Region
• East Rand Region – Covering two pharmaceutical product portfolios

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing an effective territory sales plan
• Calling on independent and corporate pharmacies across their assigned territory
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with pharmacists and key decision-makers
• Promoting a pharmaceutical product portfolio
• Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets
• Supporting product availability, stock management and order generation
• Conducting product presentations and training for pharmacy teams
• Gathering relevant market and industry insights
• Maintaining accurate customer records and sales activity reports
• Collaborating with internal teams on promotions, product launches and market-development initiatives

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Proven pharmaceutical or pharmacy sales experience
• Established relationships with independent and/or corporate pharmacies within your relevant territory
• Strong knowledge of the pharmacy environment and pharmaceutical industry
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and successfully growing a territory
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Strong planning, organisation and time-management abilities
• A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• The flexibility and willingness to travel extensively within your assigned territory
