Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited in Brackenfell, Western Cape invites a Pharmacist to join our Brackenfell store. You will dispense medications, provide pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensure safe use of prescription medications.

The role requires SAPC registration, BPharm or equivalent, Grade 12, and 2–3 years in pharmacy, including retail. Computer literacy with MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• BPharm or equivalent qualification.
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in pharmacy and retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications under supervision with accuracy and compliance.
• Provide pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure safe and effective use of prescription medications.
• Handle administration tasks, claims and profile maintenance.
• Maintain stock control and support front-shop operations.
