Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Pharmacist for our Hillcrest store. You will dispense medications, provide pharmaceutical expertise to patients and health-care professionals, and ensure safe use of prescription meds.

The role requires SAPC registration, BPharm or equivalent, and 2–3 years of retail pharmacy experience. Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to work retail hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
• 2–3 years of experience in pharmacy.
• 2–3 years of retail pharmacy experience.
• Computer literate – MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Dispensing medications under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Interpret scripts accurately and verify patient details on the system.
• Explain medication use and potential drug interactions to patients.
• Process paperwork for medical aid claims and maintain patient profiles.
• Manage stock and assist with stock takes and control.
