Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies seeks a Pharmacist for our store in New Market Mall. You will dispense medications, offer pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensure safe and effective use of prescriptions.

The role requires a BPharm or equivalent, SAPC registration, and 2–3 years in pharmaceutical retail. You will provide patient counselling, assist with claims, and support stock control while upholding high service standards.

Qualifications

• BPharm or equivalent qualification and SAPC registration is required.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in pharmaceutical field and 2–3 years in retail pharmacy.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Grade 12 / Matric.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately under supervision and ensure safe use.
• Provide pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Assist with administration and submission of claims to medical aids and maintain patient records.
• Maintain stock levels and support stock takes.
