Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Pharmacist at the Eikestad store in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensuring the safe and effective use of prescription medications.

Essential qualifications include BPharm or equivalent, SAPC registration, Matric, and 2–3 years in pharmaceutical practice with retail experience.

Qualifications

• Essentials: Grade 12 / Matric
• BPharm / equivalent qualification
• Registered with SAPC
• Min 2–3 years in Pharmaceutical
• 2–3 years retail pharmacy experience
• Computer literate - MS Office

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Provide pharma expertise to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure safe and effective use of prescription meds.
• Manage dispensing accuracy, labelling and dosing checks.
• Assist with customer service at dispensary and front-shop.
• Support stock control and stock takes.
