Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, Process Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development within the pharmaceutical or fine chemical industry.
• Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry and reaction mechanism.
• Experience with process scale-up, hazard evaluation, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
• Proficiency with analytical techniques for chemical characterization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and scale-up chemical synthesis routes for pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs.
• Conduct laboratory experiments to investigate reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and safety parameters.
• Identify and mitigate potential process hazards, ensuring safe operating procedures are developed.
