Job summary

Client in Benoni is seeking a diligent Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician to join their production team. The role focuses on operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure consistent production of high‑quality medicines in a cGMP environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (technical certification preferred) and at least 2 years in pharmaceutical production, with familiarity with GMP, aseptic techniques, and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• GMP familiarity and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to read technical manuals, SOPs, and batch records.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment (reactors, mixers, tablet presses, packaging lines).
• Perform in-process checks and quality control tests as required.
• Follow SOPs to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas per cGMP and safety standards.
• Identify and report deviations, malfunctions, or quality issues promptly.
