Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician to join the Upington production team. You will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring adherence to GMP and SOPs to produce life-saving medicines.

This role requires attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to work shifts, including overtime. Training on-site and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand SOPs and batch records.
• Good manual dexterity and precise documentation.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment (reactors, tablet presses, filling machines).
• Follow batch records and SOPs to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and production area.
• Monitor process parameters and report deviations to supervisors.
• Document all manufacturing activities accurately and timely.
• Adhere to GMP and safety regulations.
