Placements24 is recruiting an Insurance Broker for their Port Elizabeth-based agency in the Eastern Cape. The role emphasizes advising individuals and families on personal insurance products including home, auto, and travel insurance, with a focus on needs assessment, sourcing quotes, and building lasting client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in a similar role, a solid understanding of personal insurance products, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Insurance Broker or in a similar sales/advisory role in the insurance industry.
• A thorough understanding of personal insurance products (home, auto, travel, etc.).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales acumen and a customer-centric approach.
• Proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Must be able to commute to Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape as required.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with clients to identify their insurance needs and recommend appropriate personal lines coverage.
• Source and compare insurance quotes from various providers to ensure competitive pricing and optimal coverage.
• Explain policy details, terms, and conditions clearly to clients.
• Assist clients with the application process and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Manage existing client portfolios, ensuring timely renewals and addressing any changes in circumstances.
• Handle client inquiries, claims support, and policy adjustments professionally and efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and regulatory changes affecting personal insurance.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
• Maintain accurate client records and manage administrative tasks within the agency's systems.
