Job summary

Fidelity Security Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Payroll Administrator for the Bloemfontein area. The role reports to Payroll Managers and focuses on payroll processing, accuracy, and timely handling of pay queries.

The ideal candidate will have Matric, SAP experience as an advantage, and strong skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and general payroll administration. Own transport is required to meet deadlines and liaise with site managers.

Qualifications

• Matric and SAP experience would be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel is essential.
• Strong administration and organizational skills.
• Numerical accuracy and high methodical working methods are required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to liaise professionally with personnel at all levels.
• Ability to work without supervision, under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Must have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Ensure route files are neat and tidy at all times.
• Ensure route files are up to date.
• All postings are up to date daily.
• Resolve posting sheet queries within 24–48 hours.
• Attach queries to the front cover of the file until resolved.
• Follow up to obtain company numbers for all bookings; book back within 24 hours.
• Draw a red line through 103 postings with a reason and sign off by the manager.
• Attend to all pay queries and provide feedback on the day a query is received.
• Submit corrections on a valid posting sheet labeled as correction posting sheet.
• Perform daily courtesy calls to managers and sites supplying posting sheets.
• Submit time books to management for all employees under your sphere.
• Check Route files when required and ensure accurate rate changes.
• Process all relevant deductions (3rd party, garnishee, maintenance).
• Process leave and daily posting sheet checks.
