Job summary

JVR Software in Gauteng is seeking a payroll administrator to support weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payroll cycles. The role requires strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with payroll software.

You will capture employee data, validate time and attendance, ensure statutory compliance, generate reports and assist management with payroll queries. This position emphasizes accuracy and confidentiality within a fast-paced finance team.

Qualifications

• Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification.
• Strong numerical ability and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll systems.
• Understanding of SA labour laws (BCEA).

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
• Capture data: employee records, engagements, terminations, salary changes, deductions.
• Time and attendance management: validate timesheets, leave, overtime, clocking.
• Ensure UIF documentation for terminations or maternity.
• Prepare payroll reports and respond to management queries.
