Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an Analyst: Payroll Data and Systems in Gauteng to oversee payroll data integrity, system administration, and reporting. The role is the Super User for payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and secure access across environments.

You will map data architecture, implement system upgrades, generate dashboards, and support complex payroll processes across departments, keeping compliance and operational efficiency at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in payroll, data, and systems management
• Diploma in Finance or related field (Essential)
• Knowledge of system administration including user access management, troubleshooting, and system optimisation
• Proficient in reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Knowledge of the Synerion system
• Strong knowledge and understanding of systems

Responsibilities

• Maintain organizational hierarchy and job architecture by updating companies, divisions, and departments
• Map employee data architecture across systems to align data sources for reporting
• Clean up data to ensure accuracy and categorisation
• Liaise with IT for system upgrades and uphold data integrity
• Partner with IT and system providers to ensure data security and compliance
• Conduct system audits and resolve issues affecting HR processes
• Act as Super User for payroll systems, databases, and reports
• Manage system performance and user access to meet security and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with service provider and IT to resolve issues and risks
• Import data to reflect accurate system information and update calendars/pay periods
• Implement upgrades, developments, or customisations with system provider/IT
• Attend to system tickets daily and train staff on system use
