Job summary

Super Group International, a NYSE-listed digital gaming company behind Betway and Jackpot City, seeks a Payroll Governance and Transformation Specialist in Cape Town. You will move payroll toward automated, insight-driven processes while maintaining SOX controls.

Join a multi-entity payroll function and design end-to-end controls, automation roadmaps, and dashboards in Power BI. Strong PaySpace and Workday experience and data protection knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing payroll controls in a SOX/compliant environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax rules and reporting.
• Ability to implement automation and analytics to improve accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and ensure accurate salary and bonus calculations.
• Own payroll controls framework across entities, with SoD documentation.
• Coordinate SOX/internal control activities and audit liaison tasks.
• Develop payroll dashboards and KPIs in Power BI for exec decision-making.
• Lead automation roadmap and governance for payroll workflows.
• Perform risk assessments and maintain payroll risk registers.
• Ensure data protection compliance (POPIA/GDPR) across jurisdictions.
