Job summary

Super Group International, a NYSE-listed digital gaming company behind Betway and Jackpot City, seeks a Payroll Governance and Transformation Specialist in Cape Town. You will drive automation, governance and analytics across payroll, ensuring SOX controls and data accuracy.

Collaborate with leadership to mitigate risk and improve efficiency. You will own the payroll controls framework, oversee reconciliations, respond to audits, and deliver insight through dashboards.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end payroll processing and payroll controls.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation, tax laws and SOX requirements.
• Ability to design and implement automation, analytics and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Review: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensure accurate salary, bonus and deduction calculations using Payspace and Workday.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure payroll compliance and submit required reports for salary sign-off.
• Payroll Reconciliations: Oversee salary journals and monthly reconciliations across ERP systems.
• Tax Filing & Escalated Queries: Ensure accurate tax filing and handle complex payroll queries.
• Payroll Controls Framework: Own and maintain the payroll controls framework across entities.
• Audit Liaison & Remediation: Liaise with internal/external audits and track remediation.
• Automation & Analytics: Develop payroll automation roadmap and analytics to reduce manual effort.
• Automation Governance: Ensure automation changes follow formal change control.
• Automated Reconciliations & Exception Reporting: Build automated reconciliations and exception reports.
• Payroll Dashboards & Insight: Design and maintain payroll KPIs and dashboards.
